Meet the Team
CEO Ted Coiné brought his first company, Coiné Language School, from his living room to a $10M valuation in four years through a relentless focus on customer service. This led to the launch of Ted’s speaking career and the publication of his first book, Five-Star Customer Service, a how-to guide to help leaders bring organization-wide commitment to ethics and customer experience as a lasting competitive advantage.
In 2006 the Coiné family moved from Boston to Naples, where Ted continued to give keynotes and help run Coiné Training while serving on multiple nonprofit boards and running their family foundation. He has served as CEO four times and CMO of a tech startup once. Ted was one of the original Forbes “Power Influencers.” Across platforms, roughly half a million people follow and/or subscribe to his leadership insights.
Ten years ago Ted returned to the classroom to teach entrepreneurship, law, and accounting at Lorenzo Walker Technical College. To date, his students and other members of the Lorenzo Walker community have launched over 60 revenue-generating companies. They compete in (and often win) Shark Tank-style pitch competitions.

CFO Matthew Dunham-Novoa is a passionate entrepreneur and investor who specializes in leveraging technology to drive innovation. With an MBA in International Business and Sustainable Development, he consults, mentors entrepreneurs, and works with many major airlines.
Unabashedly focused on sustainably and profitably scaling businesses, Matthew enjoys working with founders and executives to strategize & innovate, with a particular focus on codifying, automating, and iterating on business processes. In addition to some early & ongoing successes, his entrepreneurial failures include a food truck concept, a boutique olive oil brand, and a supply chain-focused IoT business - all good learning experiences!
An active SCORE volunteer for the last 8 years - and most recently the co-chair of SCORE Naples - Matthew has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, founders, and business executives across SWFL, teaching workshops on Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Excel, and Business & Personal Finance. Similarly, he has spent the last 8 years as the Head Mentor at Lorenzo Walker Technical College, guest lecturing and mentoring students across the Entrepreneurship, Legal, and Finance programs.
COO Ken Goldman is a seasoned senior executive with more than 45 years of professional experience. Over the course of his career, he has served as Chief Financial Officer for 10 Boston-area companies, including three publicly traded firms and a multi-billion-dollar division of a Fortune 100 company. He has also held executive leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Ken began his career as a Big Four CPA with KPMG and along the way transitioned into investment banking, working for a boutique firm where he co-led the firm’s software industry practice.
Throughout his career, Ken has raised over $1 billion in capital and successfully completed 86 M&A transactions. He has served on the Boards of Directors for both public and private companies, as well as non-profit organizations. He currently advises a range of early- and mid-stage companies and operates his own marine consulting firm. Ken is also an active mentor with SCORE and supports aspiring entrepreneurs through his volunteer work with the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University.
