About Benevolent Capital Group

Benevolent Capital Group exists to empower the entrepreneurs who build our communities. We focus on solid, real-world businesses that are often overlooked by venture capital yet drive the real economy—from food producers and manufacturers to service providers and contractors.

Our philosophy is simple: combine lean startup principles with hands-on mentorship and responsible capital. We’re founders ourselves, so we know what it takes to validate an idea, iterate quickly and build a sustainable company. Whether you’re already in the market or just refining your concept, we’re here to help you grow.

Our Approach

Tangible Businesses

We invest in solid, real-world companies that employ and empower communities—the vast majority of businesses that aren’t the next big tech startup.

Lean Startup

Our principals have built and scaled companies themselves. We teach proven lean methods so founders can iterate quickly and efficiently.

Bootstrappers Welcome

We love bootstrappers and provide the mentorship and connections founders need, even before they’re ready for investment.

Our Philosophy

In a world full of resources for tech unicorns, we champion “normal” businesses — from candy manufacturers to home renovators — that employ most of us and drive the real economy.

Our founding vision is to help normal people start & scale normal companies, guiding hundreds and investing in a few that align with our values.

We support founders who are looking to scale their business 2x, 5x, and 10x. We love to leverage technology to enable "boring" businesses to thrive.

How We Work

Funding the Future

We’ve built a unique fund centered around small businesses. When you’re ready, we invest capital to help you scale.

Mentoring & Connections

Not every business needs capital, so we work with our amazing mentors—many of whom are successful entrepreneurs themselves— to guide and connect you with the domain specialists you need.

Seed Funding & Focus

We provide real funding and hands-on support for small business founders in the Southwest Florida region, working to support locals in our community.
